We ground and cleaned the slab to open up the concrete so the base coat could bond, and repaired the cracks. The flake was broadcast across the entire floor while the base coat was still wet, edge to edge with no bare or thin spots, then sealed under a clear topcoat.
The full broadcast adds texture, hides minor imperfections in an older slab and gives grip underfoot. A quick mop or hose-down keeps it clean.
